Q. Why should we use you?
A. We are an "end to end print solution provider" for the following reasons:

Q. Do you have experience of working under Framework Agreements ?
A. We work under several Framework Agreements and have done for a number of years. These include: Aston University, Staffordshire County Council, Wolverhampton City Council.
Q. Do you have on-line capabilities?
A. Yes. We have the following on-line capability:
- Ordering system for stationery, business cards and generic literature
- Project management
- Digital asset management and library
- FTP file transfer
Q. What do you mean by print management?
A. Print management/outsourcing is the complete management for an organisation of all their print and print related requirements from initial concept, through the design, creation, proofing, printing and finishing stages, as well as storage, stock management and final distribution to end users. We would look to take anything which is print or print related and manage that for you. We can add real value here - why? - because it is core to our business.
Q. Can you do anything with the price?
A. Price is always negotiable. However, we are often not the cheapest, but we do expect to offer the best value for money.
Q. How quickly can you get an estimate to us?
A. Typically quotes are supplied on the same day. However, if an urgent price is required it will be supplied within one hour.
Q. Are you able to pick up/drop off the files/proofs?
A. Yes. We offer this service in-house and through a third party.
Q. Can you produce a dummy?
A. Yes, often this is done in-house. Alternatively, this will be done in conjunction with one of our preferred suppliers.
Q. Could I press pass this job?
A. Yes. In fact, we encourage customers to visit our factory to see our capabilities first-hand.
Q. Can you manage the project from disc to distribution?
A. Yes. We have been doing this for many years - that is why we have become known as an "end to end print solution provider".
Q. What stocking and warehousing facilities can you offer?
A. We have 15,000 sq ft of dedicated storage with stock control and management systems. These link to our distribution and logistics capability.
Q. Can you provide training?
A. This is an important part of how we partner with our customers. We provide training on all aspects of the print and print management process to a number of customers. This helps to develop the relationship and add value.
Environmental
Q. How environmental are you?
A. We have all the environmental accreditations (BS-EN ISO 9001:2000, BS-EN ISO 14001:2004, FSC and PEFC). We endeavour to supply environmentally friendly options all the time and these include; a complete range of FSC/PEFC virgin and recycled papers, vegetable oil based inks; used low carbon emission transport. Internally, all by-products and waste are responsibly re-processed.

Q. Are you ISO accredited?
A. We are BS-EN ISO 9001:2000, BS-EN ISO 14001:2004, FSC and PEFC accredited and BS-EN ISO12647 registered.
Technical
Q. If I give you a disc at 5pm today can I get proofs first thing in the morning?
A. Yes. Our pre-press department works 24/7. Proofs can be output overnight and available first thing in the morning.
Q. Can you cope with the timescale?
A. Yes. We run 24/7 and have comprehensive finishing capabilities in-house.
Q. I know I've delivered the files late, but can you still meet the original deadline?
A. Yes. Our flexible approach allows us to do this in the vast majority of cases.
Q. Are these proofs good for colour?
A. Yes. We are BS-EN ISO12647 registered. This defines and controls our colour management procedures. Accordingly, our contract proofs are calibrated to our presses.
Q. What kind of files can you take?
A. We can work with every standard publishing format, including print-ready PDFs.
Q. What is the minimum and maximum thickness of material you can print on?
A. From 80 gsm up to 1 mm thick card.
Q. What type of inks do you use?
A. We use vegetable oil inks that come from a renewable resource.
Q. Why do you seal matt coated papers?
A. We tend to seal or coat all matt coated papers to avoid marking and ink rub off - it also helps the sheet through folding and finishing operations.
Q. Can I laminate my job?
A. All the inks we use are lamination and UV proof.
